MOTHER’S LEAP – A Leap Forward is a unique program dedicated to equipping disadvantaged youth with essential skills for sustainable livelihoods. Through scholarships provided by BREAD, it offers financial assistance for skill development, job-oriented training, and professional education, empowering young individuals to build better futures.
India's demographic dividend presents a significant opportunity, but only if the youth are equipped with the necessary skills. Many economically disadvantaged individuals struggle to continue higher education due to financial constraints, often prioritising immediate income over long-term academic pursuits. First-generation learners, in particular, face unique challenges in completing their education.
MOTHER’S LEAP addresses this need by supporting vocational education, offering partial or full sponsorship for training programs at recognized institutes. With the generous support of donors, this initiative has provided 260 scholarships to date, helping youth break free from generational poverty through professional education, skill training, and job placement, securing brighter futures.
